Privacy Policy
Last updated September 8, 2026
This policy explains what personal information TeamLMI collects, why, who sees it, and how to have it deleted. It covers teamlmi.com, hire.teamlmi.com, and the assessments we deliver through FactorFactory, our assessment platform.
What we collect, and why
- Site visitors. Standard server logs and aggregate analytics (Google Analytics) so we can see which pages are used. We do not build individual profiles from analytics.
- People who contact us or subscribe. Your name, email, and message, so we can reply and, if you asked, send the blog.
- Free tools. Your answers, scores, and IP address, which we use to estimate general location and to prevent abuse, plus the name and email you give us if you request a PDF report.
- Clients. Contact and billing details for the people we work with. Card payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers never reach our servers.
- Assessment respondents. Your name, email, answers, and scores, so we can score the assessment and deliver the report to you or to the organization that ordered it.
- Job applicants. Everything you submit on hire.teamlmi.com, including your resume, cover letter, writing sample, and answers to screening questions, so we can consider you for the position and share your application with the employer.
Who sees it
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the people and companies needed to do the work: the employer whose position you applied for; the organization that ordered your assessment; FactorFactory LLC, which operates our assessment platform; and the service providers listed on our information security page, each of which processes data only on our instructions.
Cookies and analytics
The Sites use a small number of cookies for security, for remembering form state, and for Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; the Sites still work.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the service you asked for, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to answer questions about work we did for you. Database backups expire after 35 days.
Deleting your information
On a verified request we delete a participant's identifying information: name, email, phone, and any free-text answers that could identify a person. De-identified assessment responses and scores are retained for research and norm development and cannot be linked back to the individual. Job applicants can ask us to delete their application and attachments. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a use of it. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these are your rights under the GDPR, and you may also complain to your data-protection authority. If you live in California, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA, and we do not sell personal information. Write to [email protected].
Children
The Sites and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We will post any change here with a new date.
