Kent presented to the Medical Group Management Association State Conference at the BWI Airport Marriott Hotel on the topic of Achieving Shared Vision: A Starter Kit for Strategic Planning.  A focused presentation on effective planning practices for medical practice groups.

He states that "building shared vision and a process for effective strategic management of medical practices is critical to help ensure success in the business and less stress for physicians, employees and patients alike"

The focus was helping leaders in the medical practice field better understand the elements of a successful strategic planning process, including four key areas for holding an effective process: building Shared Vision and Purpose; facing Current Reality effectively; developing Strategic Goals; and, finally, Following Through as a Team.  This unique approach to Strategic Practice Management creates a dynamic planning process that engages employees both logically and emotionally to commit to the process, generate fresh thinking and generates follow through to reach the vision.
