Can we stem the brain drain? |
|
|
April 4, 2007, Harrisburg, PA - The popular blog, "From the Corner Office", features a submission from Kent Frese, President of Leadership Management Institute, on "How to Stem the Brain Drain". Frese challenges the typical solutions to keeping good employees in PA, such as short-term fixes or technology investments, when a greater focus on developing a healthy culture is more effective. "In our experience, people will leave organizations for two reasons, 1) a lack of clear strategy within the organization and knowledge of the part they play in it, and 2) poor relations with their managers, says Frese.
